Staff from the Centre for Anxiety Disorders & Trauma are involved in running workshops at the Institute of Psychiatry for health professionals from time to time. These have previously included an introduction to CBT, CBT for obsessive compulsive disorder, cognitive therapy for PTSD, cognitive therapy for panic disorder and treating Body Dysmorphic Disorder and psychogenic excoriation. Other training

We sometimes receive requests from people who would like to spend a short while training at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma. Unfortunately this is not possible as the Centre is an extremely busy clinic. If you are trying to find training in CBT you may wish to look at the Cognitive Behavioural Therapies Postgraduate Diploma course details on the Institute of Psychiatry website. You can also find information on other taught courses at the Institute of Psychiatry which may be helpful in planning your career and training needs.
